      Romeo & Juliet

“Known throughout the world as one of the greatest love stories of all time, Great Plains Theatre is very excited to present Romeo and Juliet by the master of the English language, William Shakespeare.  The Montagues and the Capulets have been sworn enemies for years.  Romeo, a Montague, crashes a Capulet party where he meets fair Juliet.  Later hidden in Juliet’s garden, Romeo overhears Juliet’s pledge of love to him in spite of her family’s hatred of the Montagues.  Romeo reveals himself and together they marry, but Juliet receives news that she is to wed Count Paris.  After Romeo is exiled from the city for killing one of the Prince’s kinsman, Romeo and Juliet develop a plan to be together forever.  A tragic tale of two star crossed lovers, Romeo & Juliet’s deaths ultimately unite their feuding families. “

If you give a Mouse a Cookie

Who would ever suspect that a tiny mouse could wear out an energetic young boy? Well, once you give this talkative rodent a tasty cookie, you had better be prepared to do a few more favors for him before the day is through. Based on the popular children’s book, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie is a fast-paced comedy that will have children (and grown-ups, too) laughing and as happy as…well…a mouse with a cookie!
