To schedule an audition time please call 785-263-2903.  Walkin auditions will be allowed on first come first serve basis.
 

 

All casting for the year is completed through the local and national auditions.

No roles are pre-cast.

Actors unable to attend any of the above auditions are encouraged to send a picture and resume to us.

  • One monologue and contrasting song no more than one verse.
  • If you are a non-singer, please provide two contrasting monologues.
  • Tapes (audio or VCR) are acceptable and can be sent to:

GPTF is the only Regional Professional Theater of Central Kansas and brings in out of state performers from across the country to the heart of the great plains.

In 2007 GPTF held additional auditions in Kansas City, Emporia and Norman OK with over 150 actors attending.

In 2006 GPTF held it's local auditions and had over 100 auditionees attend over a three day period February 11, 12 & 13.  Nine different colleges from throughout the 4 state region (Kansas, Colorado, Missouri & Oklahoma) were represented.  During these auditions over 60 student performers (high school and under) auditioned for the upcoming season.  See the gptf kidz! programs for more information on student performer opportunities.
