2008 SEASON .: OUR TOWN

Our Town
by Thornton Wilder
October 31 - November 16

Ordinary life is the focus of this Pulitzer Prize winning play, set in the small town of Grover’s Corners, which could be any town, anywhere. Audiences will connect with the familiarity of the characters they see, or perhaps have known in their own lifetimes. Family values, friendship, love, marriage and daily life are included in any town, especially Our Town.

Thornton Wilder's masterpiece.... An immortal tale of small town morality [and] ... a classic of soft spoken theater. - NY Times

Beautiful and remarkable one of the sagest, warmest and most deeply human scripts to have come out of our theatre.... A spiritual experience. - NY Post

No American play describes more powerfully how we imagine ourselves. -NY Daily News
